Alligator is a leader in design, manufacturing and sourcing, supplying promotional and retail products to clients worldwide. Our head office is in South Africa with strong representation in China and sourcing agents worldwide.

Alligator is a second-generation, family run company that was taken over by the Marks family in 1988. We have a long and rich history that started in 1954 with a bag manufacturing factory. Since that time we’ve grown extensively supplying major corporations with a comprehensive range of products and providing end-to-end merchandising solutions.

From a staff of 7 we now have 250 employees spread between our state-of-the-art headquarters and manufacturing facility in Cape Town, and sales and sourcing offices in Johannesburg and Hong Kong. The three Marks brothers are still actively involved in the company creating a firm foundation for this flourishing enterprise.

We’re constantly innovating bespoke branded products; successfully manufacturing and sourcing single products or entire ranges; providing warehousing; developing and hosting online shops and managing sales and distribution.

Pride of place in the company is our factory in Epping, Cape Town. This enables great flexibility, a wide range of choices and quick turn around times. Besides making high quality products we offer a full suite of branding facilities from embroidery to screen printing and embossing.
